We're asking that people fill out comment cards or speak with a bakery manager and ask that they continue to bake Oregon Bread. Not sure that this is happening at ALL Safeway locations but certainly has happened at the Menlo Park and surrounding locations:
Safeway's footprint for Liquor and Wine is almost unbearable! When I see the bread aisle reduced to a postage stamp to make room for all the new wine they are selling; I am angered! I don't visit Safeway for wine but for groceries! When they removed the Oregon Bread, it is the last straw!
Safeway stores should revisit their practice and return food to the shelves!
