Oregon Bread returning to California.

Thanks to the efforts of our loyal Oregon Bread fans, Safeway will be bringing back Oregon Bread in California!! Thanks to all who contacted Safeway asking them to continue carrying the brand. Safeway truly values their customers.

Cinnamon raisin changes

I'm in New Jersey closer to the Philadelphia side and I have been buying the cinnamon raisin bread for a couple of years and when I bought a loaf in December it was different. I wish you would go back to the old recipe. The texture is not the same and the taste is terrible. At over $5.00 a loaf for the Oregon Trail, I'd rather go back to the other leading brand which is about half the price. :-(

No raisin variety

There is not a raisin variety in the Oregon Bread line. Only Western Hazelnut and Stoneground Wheat Hazelnut.

Unfortunately they aren’t interested

We have tried selling Oregon Bread into Trader Joes for years now. They are not interested. We used to have a brand called Simple Grains in Wild Oats Markets but when Whole Foods bought Wild Oats the brand was discontinued. We've tried selling several brands into Whole Foods including Oregon Bread and Oregon Trail but they weren't interested.

Thanks Marmalade. We're not able to get a list of Winco locations that currently carry Oregon Bread but we've been told that it can be found in most Winco locations in California.

My favorite bread for years is no longer available at Safeway! I could travel a few miles for it if it can be found anywhere. Help! is it anywhere around?

If there is a WinCo close to you you can purchase Oregon Bread there for a great price. $2.69 in Fontana, CA.

freshness

Three times in last year, inner liner has not been sealed completely and bread was stale. Anyone else had this problem? If enough complain, maybe they will do better job of sealing the inner packaging.
