This is so amazingly nice!

Ingredients

350ozCoarse Wholemeal
1tCinnamon
1pnsalt
1 Grind of a lemon
1tBread Soda
125gNatural Yogurt
3ozDark Brown Sugar
3TSunflower Oil
1 egg
150mlmilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas
  2. Lightly grease a 900g/2lb loaf tin.
  3. Put the wholemeal, cinnamon, salt and lemon rind into a mixing bowl. Sieve in the bread soda and mix well.
  4. Lightly beat the yogurt, sugar, sunflower oil, egg and milk together and add to the dry ingredients. Stir well.
  5. Transfer to the prepared tin and bake for about an hour.
  6. Turn onto a wire tray to cool.

Notes

This is lovely with a bit of butter!
